Over the years our kids have brought home, over our initial protests, assorted dogs, cats, chickens, and rats. And every one has stolen our hearts. Awesome (who was taken from us far too soon) and Hyphy--who still crowds the bed when she comes over for a sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa--are two granddogs who've made our lives so rich.
