A bunch of us where camping; we kept hearing this cry come from the surrounding area that sounded like a young child screaming for there parent, we soon realized that it was a young deer lost without it's mother, someone informed us that they saw a deer hit by a car on the side of the road on the way to the camp out. we all prayed that it wasn't this young things mom, but as the early morning turned into afternoon and fading into the late evening, the reality set in that the young deer was crying for a mother that would not be able to return, but it was quickly attracting coyotes; noticing that there hauls where closing in with every minute. So a couple of people, armed with flash lights and love decided to venture out to find the young orphaned deer, and what they found was worse than imagined, it was a matter of a few days old. The women that discovered this little guy; has a farm back home and has raised orphan animals before, that have got left behind. (she had a heart of gold). She took that little guy in, and went straight into the closest town to get a milk supplement to feed the newly adopted family member. this was a photo of him before feeding him. he seemed so happy even though not knowing his surroundings. this women stayed up all night to feed and cater to this little guy and see if mom would come back for him but she never showed. this taught me that there are still big hearts and purely loving people left in this world that would give everything to save a stranger, how more glorious can life be??!!!!
