Andrew Schug age 37, leaves behind five children and his wife of 14 years and is heading off for his first tour in Iraq. The North Carolina National Guard has taken him out of his Idaho unit to deploy with them. The officials who activated him did their best to force him to sign a volenteer statement. But Andrew refused but in the end, he ended up signing something and writing on it that he is NOT volenteering. Other Guard members who were activated with him did end up signing the papers, they told him they felt they had to or they might get put in jail. I believed if asked, the Army National Guard would say that Andrew has volenteered when in fact he did not. He will be gone approximately thirteen months.
