This is something falling at a high rate of speed. Picture taken off of Jackshaw Road Thursday night 14 Aug at 6:29pm

What fell out of the atmosphere ?

My 4-H kids who have market lambs this year and I were at the sheep shear's home shearing lambs. Toward the end of the shearing my son Cody discovered an object that was burning and heading toward the horizon. We were all amazed and it just happened that we had my camera so we started taking these pictures. We stood in the drive way which is off of Jackshaw road just south of Moscow. None of us had heard what it might have been or how far away it actually was, but it was pretty amazing. The object did not last very long at all before it disappeared under the horizon.

I believe what was seen was an aircraft flying away to the sw, leaving a contrail. The object was viewed at high altitude and moving away from the viewers and the contrail was seen from behind, seemingly shorter than it actually was. Seen 1-2 mins.

I saw this fall out of the sky also on the 14th. I was on vacation and was either headed to Moscow, or going to Lewiston from Moscow. I just thougth that "wow" they finely made a jet that would not drop polution trails on us! It looked the same.
