Greencreek area farmers combined efforts to conquer harvesting 150 acres of winter wheat in less than 4 hours on Saturday morning, August 10th. They reached out to Ralph Stubbers who was unable to do his own harvesting this year due to needing back surgery, which is scheduled for next week. A group of over 20 local farmers gathered up 10 combines, 7 trucks, and 3 bank-out wagons, taking a break from their own fields, to accomplish the harvest for Ralph Stubbers. The entire group gathered at the Stubbers home for lunch after the work was done and before they went back to their own fields to continue their harvesting. The Stubbers family is very thankful for the amount of help from the community.
