David Justesen received an award for service above and beyond at the 2012 Toyota-Weaver Seed World Jet Boat Marathon awards banquet. David was instrumental in setting up the amateur radio communications network for the boat races. He also acted at net control to provide Jet Boat traffic control. 64 Amateur Radio Operators from throughout Idaho including 22 from Idaho, Lewis , and Clearwater counties participated in keeping the races safe.
