Myself and my friend Kate took the afternoon off from operating the KOA at Lyons Ferry Marina to check out the nearby Palouse Falls State Park on Tuesday, March 27. The amount of water coming over the falls was truely impressive. You could feel the wind and spray and the noise was like a freight train. Palouse Falls State Park is located on HWY 261 just 15 miles or so North of Starbuck, WA. It is a state park so a Discovery Pass is required. You should check it out while high water lasts!
