We hardly ever get much snow in the valley, but today we made up for it. In the early hours before heading off to work there was a peaceful blanket of snow outside and so beautiful. As we left work at 11:15 because we closed early, there were cars everywhere and the snow covered roads were trecherous and dirty and everyone seemed on edge about driving out there. A snow day... for those who took advantage of it, there was snowman building, sledding, snowball fights and just plain fun.
