On the morning of 9/12/11, I was amazed to see a hot air balloon out of my living room window. It was floating just over the tree tops across the street from my home. I rushed outside with my camera in hand to capture the image of the brightly colored balloon. Never before had I seen one so close.
On the street, traffic was stropped to gaze and the spectacular event. Neighbors came out of their homes gapping in amazement.
It was a wonderful chance to rekindle friendships with people we had not talked to for months.
