Perigee-syzygy "Super" Moon from Latah County

Super Moon, Sat pm/Sun am

It stopped snowing and cleared off enough to get a few shots of the Moon in a combination of it's full phase, and perigee (closest to earth in orbit). Both happen several times a year, but it is rare for both to happen at the same time.

How do you get such a good picture of the moon? Whenever I try to get a picture of the moon on my camera it always looks like a white blob.
