Former Cougar gets NFL playing time
A former WSU Cougars quarterback is making a case to stick around on an NFL team.

One-time Washington State Quarterback Jeff Tuel is trying to secure his spot on the Buffalo Bills as part of the 46-man, game day roster, and is certainly not doing anything wrong in the process. He went 19-23 in his preseason debut against the Indianapolis Colts, throwing for 212 yards and two touchdowns. Tuel was able to play the entire second half of Sunday’s game because the starter, Kevin Kolb, was out with a knee injury. First round draft pick E. J. Manuel got the start for the Bills.
