Training hard has won him second in State of Idaho for hurdles
LEWISTON, ID - For Zion Stuffle, a freshman with the Lewiston Track and Field team, his career as a Bengal is off to a fast start.

After placing sixth in the 300 hurdles at the Pasco Invite, he is now ranked second in the State of Idaho. Not many people would expect a freshman to accomplish what Zion has so far and that's just the way he likes it.

"It feels good, love being the underdog and people watching out for me," said Zion. "It's been intense though, I've been training hard for it for a long time."

While already having accomplished so much, Zion said he has a bigger goal in mind than just being ranked second in the State.

"Well I've been working on State for quite a few years," said Zion."I want to get a State Title my freshman year, that's a big thing for me."

To achieve such a high goal, Zion said it's going to take nothing short of perfection.

"Got to go on there like Rocky and be the underdog and get it," said Zion. "That's what I need to do, take my blows and win it."
