LEWISTON, ID - Karlee Wilson, a junior point guard with the Lewiston Bengals, helped lead her team to victory over number one ranked Coeur d'Alene Vikings. The 44-39 victory, which has the Bengals now ranked at number two in the state, is a game that Karlee said they knew would be tough

"It was a big game, we've always been rivals with Coeur d'Alene," said Wilson. "We knew going into it that it was going to be an amazing game and all of us just had to play as hard as we could."

While the team is still excited about their victory, Karlee said it's already back to business as usual for the Bengals.

"Everyday we just come to practice and get better," said Wilson. "We have a lot of non-league games so we're just hoping to get better every game so when it comes to districts and other leagues games we'll be strong then we were."

Karlee is hoping that all the hard work the Bengals put in, and all their little goals, will make their final season goal a reality.

"Well we make little goals first then the final goal of course is to get to state," said Wilson. "We want to just improve this season and always get better and just win every game at a time."
