CLARKSTON, WA - Carson Holman is getting ready for his sophomore year with the Clarkston High School Track and Field Team.

Carson competes in three events for the Bantams, the 100 meter, 200 meter, and the 4x1 relay. While it may be tough to choose, Carson says he does have a favorite.

"I would say my favorite is probably the 100 definitely." said Holman. "It's only like 11 or 12 seconds of just as fast as you can run and kind of exciting."

Entering his second year with the team, working closely with head coach Len Kelly, Carson says his very focused on what he needs to improve on.

"Definitely my starts." said Holman. "That's the entire race, is just getting a good start. Also for me I want to improve my time definitely."

Even with room to improve, Caron has one goal in mind for this season with the Bantams.

"One of my goals is just to be able to make it to the state competition." said Holman. "As long as I get there I'm pretty much happy."
