"Training is long of course, but it's good," said Watkins. "It provides a good way to spend time after school."
Speaking of school, Robert completed honors biology last year and has even upped his school work this year.
"It's pretty difficult because right now I am taking to AP classes, so practice goes to 5 or 5:30 so it's kind of hard to get in homework time," said Watkins.
On top of all that, he is working towards his eagle rank in scouts. With so much on his plate he still has one goal in mind this season.
"To go to state," said Watkins. "Regionals is next week and we have to place top ten as an individual or I think top three as a team and so that's the goal to place as best as possible."
