"Lately I've been moving around different positions," said Case. "I started out setting this season and now I'm hitting in the middle. I just mostly like being there and playing."
And she obviously does well. This senior has been on the varsity team for the last three years. And while she plans to study to be a teacher next year, she's hoping she'll be teaching more than just math and science.
"I think it would be fun to coach, especially younger kids, teaching them how to play and stuff," said Case. "I helped at a camp this summer that was put on here and it was all these little kids playing. It was just fun for me to watch them and be able to teach them."
The Trojans placed third at state last year. So can you guess Danica's goal for this season?
"Probably a state championship," said Case. "That would be really cool, senior year to get that."
