Pullman football coach resigns

Craig McCormick.

PULLMAN, WA - It's the end of a short lived coaching era as Pullman High School announced that after three years head football coach Craig McCormick has resigned.

No public reason has been given for McCormick's resignation but school officials say he will remain on as a teacher. In his three years as the head-man of the Greyhounds the team went 8-22. Despite the record, Pullman High School athletic director Mike Davis said McCormick has done a lot to help the program.

"I think he's done a lot of really positive things." said Davis. "Craig did some really good stuff in terms of promoting football in our community. I'm really thankful for what he did."

Davis said the search is already underway for McCormick's replacement and will be filled as soon as possible.
