Chris Rubio works on technique at Walker Field

By Jay Tust

LEWISTON - When it comes to perfecting the art of long snapping, there's no better teacher than Lewiston's Chris Rubio.

Following an extensive career at the collegiate and pro level, Rubio has now turned his attention towards coaching up today's brightest stars.

A sought after sensei, in the last 14 days alone, Rubio's held clinics at the University of Alabama, the University of Oregon and everywhere in between.

In just a few years on the longsnapper instructing scene, Rubio has made quite a name for himself. The list of school in which his proteges attend goes on, and on, and on. And students from all over the nation are making the trip to Lewiston to learn from the best.
