LEWISTON - Some of the best bowlers in the state of Idaho will be making their way to the Valley over the next few weeks.

It's all for the 4th annual Idaho State USBC Women's Bowling Championship. It kicks off Saturday in Clarkston at Lancer Lanes.

To get a proper gauge on what kind of talent we can expect to be seeing, Jay Tust squared off against one of the top local competitors - Lyndsey Moran.

He didn't hold his own, as Lyndsey worked him through a three frame exhibition.

For an event usually held down south, it has locals pretty excited for the opportunity to host it .

The championship takes place on the weekends of March 13th & 14th, March 20th & 21st, March 27th & 28th and April 10th & 11th.

This is the first time the tournament has been held in this area.
