YAKIMA - Three area teams are still alive in the Washington 2A state basketball tournament, but none are in the championship bracket.

The Clarkston boys suffered a 30 point loss to #1 seed Squalicum 94-64 Wednesday night in the opening round at the SunDome. The boys bounced back Thursday in the consolation bracket, defeating Steilacoom 63-50. They face Mount Baker Friday morning at 10:30.

The Bantam girls won in the consolation bracket Thursday, defeating Tumwater 63-58. They play East Valley Friday at 9 am.

The Pullman girls lost 59-47 to River Ridge Thursday and now face Eatonville Friday at 12:30 in the 4th place bracket.
