This time the Warriors defeated the Orediggers when it mattered the most, as national tournament bids were on the line.
In the first half the Warriors jumped all over the Orediggers, thanks in large part to Jazmine Stohr's 17 points. The Warriors had a 15-point lead going into the second half.
In the second half Montana Tech came out with a sense of urgency. With their season riding on the line, their sharpshooters began to heat up, closing the gap to within five with five minutes to go.
But the Warriors pulled away to an 89-75 victory.
