BOISE - The Prairie Pirates claimed the 1AD1 boys basketball title in Caldwell Saturday night and the Nezperce Indians won the 1AD2 championship, but the Moscow Bears bid for a 4A championship came up short against Twin Falls at Borah High School.

Prairie ended a dream season by defeating Castleford 52-48 at Vallivue High School. In the consolation game, two other local teams battled on the court, with Troy getting the win against Kendrick 44-32.

In the 1AD2 title game, Nezperce defeated Carey in a squeaker, 57-56, in Caldwell.

Moscow's run for a 4A title was ended by Twin Falls 52-37 at Borah High School.

Kamiah lost to Firth in a heartbreaker, 46-45, in the 2A title tilt at Capital High School.

Post Falls beat Eagle 68-60 at the Nampa Center to win the 5A championship.
