Hounds ready for Sehome
By Sabrina Beale
PULLMAN, Wa- The Greyhound baseball team is busy gearing up for the state semifinals. Pullman snuck in the back door by winning two loser-out games to even reach Regionals, but proved they belong with the best teams in the state last weekend by winning both their contests. Friday night the Hounds will face Sehome at 7 PM, and hope their luck continues.
"We're feeling excellent right now because we've got a lot of confidence going after last weekend," said Greyhound Senior Tyler Druffel. "We've been knocked out the past two years in the first round and getting past that first game we had so much adrenaline and intensity that it led right into the second game so I think that will do it this weekend too." "All aspects of our game have come together," said Greyhound Baseball Coach Lance Lincoln. "They're loose. I think we're kind of playing with borrowed money right now. We're just having fun and hopefully we can keep it rolling." |
