LEWISTON, ID - So it was probably expected, but Wednesday we find out where Warrior Baseball ranks in the last post-season poll of the year.

The Lewis-Clark State College Baseball team, which advanced to the championship game of the 2014 Avista NAIA Baseball World Series, was ranked second in the NAIA coaches' postseason top-25 poll.

The Warriors finished the season with a record of 47-9, and advanced to the season's final game for the second consecutive season and 23rd time overall. LCSC earned 542 points in the nationwide balloting of coaches, which was unanimously topped by 2014 World Series Champion Cumberland.

Lewis-Clark State extended its consecutive string of appearances in the top 25 to an NAIA record 136 with this week's poll, and has been ranked in the top 10 in 24 straight polls, also a national record.
