Trojans fall short after big time plays from Tanielu and Jones in seventh inning
PULLMAN, WA - How about a little Cougar baseball up in Pullman as the Trojans of USC came to the Palouse to take on Washington State.

Very sweet of Butch to be helping out WSU women's soccer player Mesa Owsley who is injured right now...let's get to some baseball.

Top of the first, Trojans strike first as Jake Hernandez hits a little blip past third that would score two early runs, but never fear.

Nick Tanielu is here...hits a big time gapper to right center in the bottom of the seventh to put the Cougs ahead 3-2. Good hand-eye coordination right there.

Just a little later in the inning, it's P-J Jones who hits it right back past the pitcher, that will score another two, and give the Cougars
another win, this time beating the Trojans 5-2.
