Vandals sign big offensive lineman
MOSCOW, ID - Signing day was a big day for the Idaho Vandals, literally. Amongst some of the junior college transfers signed yesterday was offensive lineman Semisi Tupou.

Tupoi checks in at 6'4", 380 pounds. Head coach Robb Akey says despite his size, he's a quick athlete.

"At the very least it's gonna take a day just to run around the guy. The guy, he moves very well, he played guard as a fresman in junior college. Last year he played in the defensive line and you don't put guys in the defensive line if they can't move their feet. So he does bring that great size, he is able to move."

Akey says they hope to have Tupou on campus in time for spring practices, but more likely his arrival will come this summer.
