Coach Akey on signing day.
Akey said he's excited the pair of Vikings are now Vandals.
"It's been fun getting to know these guys and I'm excited to be their coach over time." said Akey. "I've been able to see them do a number of things as time goes on. They were the state champions in football two years running. There's a lot of things, they're competitive guys and I'm excited to what they bring."
"It is a dream come true but at the same time we stay unsatisfied because we hunger for more and we want more than that." said Watson. "We want to win and I think that's what we're going to take to Idaho."
"I think it's like a record, we've been playing ever since fourth grade up through junior tackle, high school, and now college." said Chalich. "So it's something special and we have the connection that not many people have."
While Chalich is locked in at the QB position, Robb Akey says that have yet to determine exactly what roll Watson will play for the Vandals, and he may also play basketball for the Vandals just like his father.
