U of I Vandals’ intensify their practices
MOSCOW, ID - After one day of rest for the players, the Vandals are already back on the field getting set for game time in just over two weeks.

Just two days after their first fall scrimmage, the University of Idaho football team was back working on anything Head Coach Petrino may have not liked on the field from Saturday’s mock game. Resting only Sunday, these players have begun to show a little fatigue with practices that are longer than anything they have dealt with before. Regardless, it's something the players are learning to deal with.

"People get mad all the time, so, just lock it in your head that it's time to go,” said U of I Vandals Defensive End Quinton Bradley. “Cause' Coach Petrino, he's not gonna' have it. So you'll be out there play after play after play so you better get used to it."

"How we do workouts, how we do practices, stuff like that,” said U of I Vandals Defensive end Maxx Forde. “Just trying to make sure that you're mentally tough enough to be able to handle those reps. It definitely gets tough sometimes and you gotta' push through that."

The Vandals will practice at 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday and just 9:00 a.m. through Friday. They’ll round out the week with their second scrimmage on Saturday morning.
