Petersen vocal about BCS snub

BOISE, ID - The 2011 Boise State football team senior class closed out one of the most successful chapters in Bronco football history with a 45-0 win over New Mexico. However, their hopes off capping it off with a BCS bowl were once again shattered.

Despite finishing seventh in the final BCS standings, BSU is left on the outside looking in. Monday, the normally quiet Bronco's head coach Chris Petersen, was pretty vocal about his feelings on the snub.

"I think everybody is just tired of the BCS, I think that's the bottom line." said Petersen. "Everboy's frustrated, nobody really knows what to do anymore, it doesn't make sense to anybody. The whole thing needs to be changed, there's not question about it."

Petersen's remarks not only echo those of players and fans, but many experts across the nation. The Broncos will once again head to the Las Vegas Bowl and their opponent will be the Arizona State Sun Devils from the PAC-12.
