Penn State continues pursuit of Petersen

BOISE, ID - One phrase Boise State fans hope won't come true, in relation to Chris Petersen, is "third time's a charm".

It's being reported by CB Sports' Charlie Casserly that Penn State is making their third run at Coach Pete. While Petersen has yet to publicly comment on the situation, more reports said that he has no interest in the job.

The Idaho State Board of Education is holding a special meeting on Wednesday and the only item on the agenda is the "salary of Boise State's head football coach." BSU approached the board late last week to request another increase in his salary and the decision to hold the meeting was made Tuesday morning.
