Aaron Baltazar will redshirt the 2014 season.
PULLMAN, WA - Though they're known as a pass-first team, the Cougars will be getting some help in their ground and pound game.

Former Boise state running back Aaron Baltazar has signed a financial aid agreement to join the Washington State Football program next fall. The five-foot-ten, 215-pound running back rushed for 234 yards and two touchdowns on 50 carries, caught five passes for 19 yards and returned one kickoff for 24 yards as a freshman for the Broncos before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

Baltazar will redshirt the 2014 season due to NCAA rules that require him to sit out a year after transferring, but will then have three years to play three seasons for the Cougars. Out of high school, Baltazar was rated the nation's 49th-best running back prospect and the no. 8 running back in the west by scout.com.
