SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — The San Francisco 49ers have signed top draft picks Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati to five-year contracts, ensuring the offensive linemen will be in uniform for Sunday's first training camp practice.

San Francisco also signed rookie safety Taylor Mays and rookie linebacker Navorro Bowman to four-year deals Friday, the day rookies were due to report to team headquarters.

The 49ers are counting on their two highly touted offensive linemen draft picks learning in a hurry: 11th choice Davis out of Rutgers and 17th choice Iupati out of Idaho. Coach Mike Singletary expects them to become starters at some point this season.
