LEWISTON, ID - The LCSC Warriors are unexpectedly playing at home this week, though they are considered the away team.

The University of British Columbia was in town, but maybe wished that they hadn’t been. At the top of the fifth, with two men on, catcher Jake Shirley belted a single to right center that scored both runners. It was 7-0 Warriors.

Top of the sixth, Chris Wooley was up with bases loaded, and he smacked it right where Shirley put it in the last inning, scored two, Warriors were up 9-0.

Need a little more Jake Shirley? Still at the top of the sixth, two men on, and he blasted the ball to the left center wall, and that ended up in a two-run double.

Despite Jake's four RBI's, the star of the game goes to LCSC’s starting pitcher Michael Noteware who went just over seven innings, gave up one hit, no runs, one walk, and struck out eleven. His effort and an offensive explosion, easily gave the Warriors a huge win, 13-1. Both teams will be back at Harris Field Saturday at noon for a double header.
