WSU Women win in overtime
KENNEWICK, WA - The 5-and-5 WSU women do have an upset win over 10th ranked Nebraska this season, and tipped with UC Riverside at the Toyota Center in an early game.

The lady Cougs trailed for most of the first half, but a late spurt gave them a one-point lead at the mid-way point.

Quick take by Lia Galdiera, then Sage Romberg buried it from the back-woods.

But the lady Highlanders scored 1st out of the locker-room from half time, Brittany Crain with the root-beer floater.

Before another run forth-coming by the Crimson and Gray, Galdiera had no hesitation on the 3-ball.

Then the tasty no-look dime, courtesy of Danielle Awa to a streaking Tia Presley.

It took overtime, but the Cougs got the win 77-73. They jumped back over 500 to 6-5!
