WSU is getting ready for the Gildan New Mexico Bowl game
ALBUQUERQUE, NM - We're so close, oh yes, so very close for seeing something we haven't seen in ten years, the Cougars in a Bowl game.

The Cougs landed in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Tuesday and have been all business since. They held their first practice Wednesday and had one more Thursday as they prepared for the Gildan New Mexico Bowl, their first Bowl game since 2003.

Before taking on the 7-6 Colorado State Rams this Saturday in their final game of their 2013 campaign, they have a few more events to attend: they'll have their final team dinner Thursday, Friday many will participate in the Bowl kickoff press conference, followed by a Bowl luncheon, and lastly a pep rally and battle of the bands. Bowl fever is definitely starting to settle in for the team.

"Yeah, I mean definitely once you get on location and it’s going good,” said WSU Head Football Coach Mick Leach. “They do a great job with this Bowl and we're excited to be here and everything is going good."

The Gildan New Mexico Bowl will kick off this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Here's to the Cougs hopefully extending their Bowl record to 7-4!
