WSU players looking to positives coming from loss to Oregon
PULLMAN, WA – Mike Leach called it a complete game and now his players are calling the loss to Oregon motivation.

A loss is certainly not desired and never easy to deal with especially after the way the Cougs played in the first half against the Ducks. Both senior Steven Hoffart and junior Deone Bucannon are looking for the positives coming out of that game rather than the negatives.

“I feel like it helps us improve because now we know we can stick it to anyone,” said Hoffart. “That’s the big part about it. I wish we could have seen them later on so we could have gotten a little bit stronger before we faced them.”

“This was a huge step for us,” said Bucannon. “It was a huge step for us to understand where we are as a team and to know like I said earlier that we have the potential to play with anybody.”

Fresh off a hard fought victory against Arizona, the undefeated and 14th ranked Oregon State Beavers are next up for Washington State. The game will be played in Corvallis.
