WSU picked 5th in PAC-12 North Division
LOS ANGELES, CA - In another sign that the college football season is right around the corner, the PAC-12 released its preseason rankings.

For Washington State, it's not the best ranking, but it's certainly not the worst.

In the media poll, WSU has landed in the North Division's fifth spot, which is just ahead of Oregon State and just below California. The Cougs received a total of 228 points and no first place votes.

Here are the poll results (first-place votes in parentheses):
