WSU focused on "their game" not a "perfect game" against Oregon
PULLMAN, WA – Connor Halliday has been described as a “high risk high reward” quarterback that has no doubt provided a spark for WSU’s air raid offense that remained somewhat grounded in its first two games.

Still struggling to put up points in the second half, the Cougs will have to address that if they hope to beat the number two team in the country on Saturday.

Many people believe Washington State will have to play a “perfect game” in order for them to beat the Oregon Ducks in Seattle. However, Halliday said it’s not about playing a perfect game, but rather playing their game.

“I think if you go into a game thing that, it’s going to be a long day for you,” said Halliday. “Obviously you’re going to have to play well to beat the number two team in the country. But if you go into a game thinking that, you’re just going to press, you’re going to force the ball down field.”

The game between the Cougs and Ducks in Seattle will be shown on ESPN 2 with kickoff set for 7:30pm on Saturday.
