MOSCOW, ID – The Idaho Vandals will once again fly across the country as they close out their non-conference schedule against North Carolina this Saturday.

The Tar Heels like to get things done through the air averaging more than 300-yards passing per game. With Idaho’s secondary being called into question at times this season, Vandals head coach Robb Akey said they will look to special teams to help provide a little spark.

“Well playing somebody like this we need some ‘woo-eee’ plays is the way I look at it,” said Akey. “If we can get a couple of those to take place for us that helps, that’s a spark, the quickest way to create some momentum.”

To avoid jet lag as much as possible, Idaho heads for Chapel Hill on Thursday. Saturday’s game is scheduled for 12:30 local time.
