MOSCOW, ID - The University of Idaho hits the road this week and will look to turn around quickly from a loss against Eastern Washington.

However, this year's game against Bowling Green may be tougher than years past.

The Falcons opened up their 2012 season against SEC powerhouse Florida. Bowling Green hung in tough with the Gators but ended up losing that contest 27-14.

The loss notwithstanding, their performance has caught the eye of Vandals head coach Robb Akey.

"I thought the way that they competed against an SEC team, I thought they held strong in their fronts," said Akey. "I expect this to be a very good football game. I expect it be an exciting football game. I expect my team to perform better that they did last week and make sure that it is an exciting football game."

This will be the rubber match between the two squads as the series is tied at one-win a piece. Bowling Green picked up the most recent victory last year in the Kibbie Dome by a 32-15 final.
