MOSCOW, ID - The rough season has continued for the Vandals but the team has a positive outlook.

Idaho takes on University of Texas San Antonio for their final home game of the season. This is the first time these two teams have met, but Interim Head Coach Jason Gesser said the Vandals have already seen teams like this in the past. He said they have an idea of what to expect and now after gaining some confidence scoring against BYU's defense on Saturday, a feat that neither WSU or Boise State accomplished this year, they feel they have the potential to pull off a win on Saturday.

"To put points up against a team and a defense that is that stingy, shows that we can do these things, ya know," said Gesser. "We showed that against LSU, same thing, we showed it against some other teams but we just haven't been consistent at it, that's been our biggest problem."

Gesser said little things are starting to come together for the team off the field which has translated into better performance on the field and he feels good about the way things are progressing. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at the Kibbie dome.
