University of Idaho recruits three regional football players
MOSCOW, ID - It's always good to see local area kids going to college, and the Idaho football team has now got three of them.

With small town schools, getting noticed by big colleges isn't an easy task, but the recruiting of Idaho, Head Football Coach Paul Petrino has led to three incoming freshman joining the team for the 2014 season. They include Pullman High's standout receiver and basketball player David Ungerer who you see here in this video, Freeman High offensive lineman Jordan Rose, and Coeur d'Alene quarterback Gunnar Amos. Coach Petrino is proud of his pickups.

"Freeman to me is pretty local, and we signed a good offensive lineman in Jordan Rose from there," said Petrino. "And then Gunnar Amos from Coeur d'Alene. So in my opinion, of the five best players in the area from Coeur d'Alene to Spokane to here, we got three of them so I think we did really well in getting players."

As for David Ungerer, we will hear a lot more from him this Tuesday, so stay tuned.
