Cubs coach tossed from the game
LEWISTON, ID – Game three for the LC Cubs at the Clancy Ellis Memorial Tournament turned out to be a memorable one, but for the wrong reasons.

The Lewiston All-Stars taking on the Cubs Saturday night, and we have a tie game in the seventh, and here’s what we see. Men on first and second, no outs, there’s a sac bunt at the plate. First baseman to charges and makes the throw to third. It appears to get there in time, but he home-plate umpire said the ball was bobbled and the runner is safe.

Cubs Head Coach Justin Miller comes out to argue what many thought looked to be an obvious out, and unfortunately he was out there a little too long and gets tossed from the game. After that, the All-Stars took advantage of the shaken Cubs team, scoring eight runs and winning this one 12 to 4.

Cubs will look to rebound this Wednesday against Coeur d’Alene.
