U-16 Alliance chases national title
LEWISTON, ID - There are many different dynamics that make up the Alliance, the U-16 team of the Valley Thunder Soccer Club.

The biggest dynamic is the fact that some of the players live as far away as Seattle. But it's those dynamics that make this team so unique.

The Alliance is headed off to Chicago for their first appearance at the U.S. Club Nationals. Coach Michelle Parson said her girls are headed into the tournament well prepared.

"When it comes down to it, if they just play, they have the opportunity to do well," said Parson. "They're a well-rounded team. We have an amazing keeper, we have just strong players throughout, there's no weak link."

To say the team is excited, center midfielder Morgan said that might be an understatement.

"Pretty much super excited," said Ashe. "Just saying that I get goosebumps. I'm just pumped up and ready to go. I just want to get in there, kick butt, take the title and get out."

The Alliance leaves for Chicago on Wednesday with their first game coming Friday night.
