LEWISTON, ID - The Lewis-Clark Twins took Wednesday to relax before the state tournament which begins on Thursday.

However, Tuesday night was spent getting in some final practice time before the week's big event.

Center field Avery Hurst said their elimination from the district tournament helped motivate the team to perform better.

"We've seen some things we've struggled with through the season start to come alive in those games," said Hurst. "It helped us improve as a team no matter what the result was."

Pitcher Aaron Cracke says the Twins more is good heading into the tournament.

"We've taken down most every team we face," said Cracke. "I think we have the confidence that we can pretty much come out here and beat any team as long as out mind is set on the game we're about to play."

The Twins first game will be the late game on Thursday against the number two team from Eastern Idaho.
