LEWISTON, ID - As the camps proceed, the young continue to blossom into promising athletes.

Tuesday marked the second week of the LCSC Girl's Basketball Camp. There are two different sessions for this camp, the morning session that's held for first through third graders while the afternoon session brings in the fourth through sixth.

Like most basketball camps, this one aims to teach the rules and fundamentals of camp, but in a slightly less serious environment with more games and prizes based on age. The man leading the camp is LCSC Women's Basketball Head Coach Brian Orr, who has brought in a few of his players to help out.

"This afternoon we've got some more of our players working, so it's always good when our college basketball players are working with young people in our community," said Orr. "We think that's a real positive thing and it helps them. It helps them to become better players."

In addition to this camp, the college and coach Orr will be hosting a seventh through twelfth grade girl's camp starting on July 14th.
