You can participate in Seaport Striders Benefit Run.
LEWISTON, ID - A local organization is running to support other runners, and want you to come run with them!

This Friday is the Seaport Striders Benefit Run which raises money for the Lewiston, Clarkston, and Asotin High School Cross Country teams. The ten-dollar entry fee gets you a water bottle, while they last of course, a refreshing, three-mile evening run, and the satisfaction of knowing you are helping out local youth with all cross-country related expenses. In addition to the cause, there are many more reasons to come out.

"There will be some drawings when the event's over," said Tim Gundy. "So it's kinda nice for everybody to hang around and kinda get to know each other and hopefully see those that really enjoy the sport of running and distance running in our valley and there's a number of them out there. Just kind of get together and support these young runners."

The Seaport Striders Benefit Run will start at 7:00 p.m. this Friday on the Asotin High Football Field, however participants and supporters are encouraged to get there about an hour ahead to register and stretch. Should be a beautiful evening to run for a great cause.
