Jermaine Morgan is leaving Missouri to play for Washington State.
PULLMAN, WA - Though all athletes are taught to just take it one game at a time, today we learn that next year's Cougar basketball team will be even bigger.

Jermaine Morgan has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Washington State University Men's Basketball team next season. The six-foot-eight forward is currently attending Moberly area community college in Moberly, Missouri.

Morgan averaged 10.6 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game as a junior in 2010-11, helping his team to a regional championship and city runner-up finish. As a senior in 2011-12, he averaged 15.0 points and 11.0 rebounds on his way to earning all-city and all-state honors.

As for the current team, they'll take their first road trip of the season just up the road to Spokane to take on Gonzaga Friday night with a 6:00 p.m. tip-off.
