Four Lewiston Bengal wrestlers went undefeated in Boise Tournament

LEWISTON, ID - High school wrestling season is in full force and the Bengals were busy this past weekend.

After starting out strong down in Boise, the Bengals ended up grabbing fourth at the Boise valley duals. They advanced to the semi-finals but fell to Kuna 48-24 and then Columbia of Nampa 41-27 in the consolation final. Lewiston Coach Dan Maurer said although they have things to work on, he's pleased with the performance.

"We won a lot of matches," said Maurer. "We only ended up losing a handful over the entire weekend. Just when it counted we lost to that team."

Four Lewiston wrestlers went undefeated in the tournament. Justin Rodgers and Bryace Parson, each at 138. Ryan Klemp at 152 and Drew Randall at 160, all went 6-0.
