Leach confident if Halliday starts
PULLMAN, WA - With under 24-hours until kickoff between Washington State and UNLY, we still don’t know it is going to be Jeff Tuel or Connor Halliday under center.

Even though Tuel has been participating in practice in a little more each day though out the week, it won’t be till kickoff that Coug fans will learn who the signal caller will be.

If Halliday ends up getting the nod, WSU head coach Mike Leach said that the young QB has done a good job of preparing should he be call upon.

“He’s a guy that’s really taken advantage of his time in the film room and practice,” said Leach. “Even though he started out with not as many reps. I think he’s really done good and capitalized on his time.”

In his appearance during the game against Eastern Washington, Halliday completed 5-of-11 passes for 76-yards and one interception.
